How the Electrostatic Process Works...

Electrostatic painting is based on the basic law of electricity; opposites attract. The item to be painted is given a negative charge. The paint is given a positive charge and atomized through a special round revolving nozzle. The object attracts the paint droplets. Instead of being sprayed on - the paint is actually plated on.

The electrostatic force is so powerful that it can pull paint around corners, ensuring a smooth, even coat. Most important, there is no overspray, no fogging or drift, as with conventional spray guns. It is amazingly neat and clean.
